@abhism007 Here's a full guide that GPT-4 generated; take some ideas:
Week 1: Establish Trust
- Volume: Start with a low volume of emails. Send between 20 to 50 emails per day depending on your total list size.
- Recipients: Send emails to recipients who are most engaged with your brand, such as those who have recently opted in or have consistently opened/clicked your past emails.
- Content: Ensure the content is relevant and engaging. High open and click rates positively impact your sender reputation.
Week 2: Gradually Increase Volume
- Volume: Double your sending volume every two days. For instance, go from 50 emails on the first day of the week to 100 by the third day.
- Monitoring: Watch for bounce rates and spam complaints. Keep them as low as possible. A high rate of either can hurt your sender reputation.
- Feedback: Implement feedback loops with ISPs to understand how recipients are interacting with your emails, and adjust based on this feedback.
Week 3: Enhance Engagement
- Volume: Continue to gradually increase your email volume. Aim to reach about 25-30% of your maximum planned volume by the end of this week.
- Segmentation: Start segmenting your list based on user behavior. Tailor your emails to match the interests shown by different segments.
- Testing: Test different types of content, subject lines, and send times to optimize open and click rates.
Week 4: Reach Full Volume
- Volume: By the end of this week, you should aim to be sending at your full volume.
- Optimization: Continuously refine your segmentation and content based on the data collected throughout the month.
- Consistency: Maintain a consistent sending volume and schedule to help ISPs recognize your sending patterns as regular and safe.
Additional Tips
- Authenticate Your Emails: Set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to authenticate your emails. This helps in improving deliverability.
- Monitor Blacklists: Regularly check if your IP is getting blacklisted and take corrective actions if necessary.
- Maintain List Hygiene: Regularly prune your list to remove non-engagers and hard bounces. This improves your overall engagement metrics and sender reputation.
Remember, each ISP may react differently, and sudden changes in volume, frequency, or content can trigger spam filters. It's crucial to monitor metrics closely and adjust your strategies based on the results you see.
