I have been using chatgpt to no avail. What I am working on is extending the capabilities of the wordpress chatbot. I want it to be able to converse with customers and I want to be able to upload specific docs so that it only answers questions in a specific area. I have tried dozens of times using chatgpt but no matter what I do I cannot get it eto be able to use uploaded docs - I thought I almost had it once when it had an upload feature on the bot but it did not work. Then I tried to make it so you could talk to it and it would talk back in a male or female voice customer choice. That did not work either. do you have any info on how to do this - I still cannot afford your 39 a month yet, but am looking forward to it soon. In the end what I want to do is create a bot like here https://replika.com/ maybe not that sophisticated at first but in the end. I just wanted a bot to start with that someone could talk to for example about a specific cancer, feeling inadequate and so on. Any help greatly appreciated!!! Do not want it to be pshychiatrist or MD etc. just a friend...
@azplaz2 the only way to do this is by using APIs If you don't know what that is then you should look to taking Hasan's courses.

I understand api's. I know a couple of them to use... I am working on learning coding - I redid a little of Hasan's chatbot but this I cannot figure out. I started with trying to make it so I couldimport documents but didn't work and coukld not proceed....
@azplaz2 what did not work about it? Are you reading the document to provide context to the API? You need RAG principles in order for what you want to work. I remember Hasan saying he is going to create a course on RAG and has worked on many libraries to help. Are you a paying member?

@azplaz2 What you're looking to do is a RAG application as @ssadvisor mentioned. So if you're still a beginner in coding and don't know what RAG is, learn a bit about them.
I have been working to understand the many things that Hasan has pout out. He is unbelievable. I even got to the point where I changed pictures and did some tools I am so excited...but in all honesty some of this is quite difficult for me cause my mind does not work loike it used to - I am 71 and somewhat sharp but at the same time somewhat dense - like previously about prompts. here is one of the things i did that i am proud of(ps: waiting to learn more about rag for chatbot. @azplaz2 I was reading some articles yesterday, and I checked a site that provides free short courses about RAG its called deeplearning.ai check their free courses out they have a ton about RAG.
Scroll down a bit in the link I provided and you'll find all the free short courses.
