I'm new to this so please forgive the simple questions.

In this video what am I doing wrong. Disregard.

When I click run python nothing happens in the terminal. It only works if I run on interactive.

Also, I'm not sure if I downloaded interpreter right. Can you tell from this video if "interpreter" is active? Disregard.

New problem.
Video won't upload. Says "file too big".  It's a short video.

@michael-marcello you can upload to Google Drive and then share the link. Make sure that you set the permissions so that anyone with the link can see the file.

@michael-marcello there isn't a reason you cannot other than we might not have the experience with it to try to help. You might want to try reinstalling VS Code first but it's up to you.

I've reinstalled it several times. Still nothing.  I had the same problem with pycharm.  I'm at a loss.

@michael-marcello While installing Python did you add it to file path as @admin said in the video? If no, uninstall python, redownload it, and do that. Maybe this can help in your case.

@michael-marcello can you please record a 20 seconds screen cast, and show us what is happening

@admin and @husein I had a conference with Michael. The run button at the top isn't executing python. He does have Python in the path. Nothing I found and he tried would resolve the issue. @michael-marcello can you open a power shell command window and type python --version does it return anything?
