Hello everyone,

I've been working on refining my YouTube video creation process and have developed a framework of 12 essential rules that I believe significantly enhance viewer engagement, retention, and overall content quality. My goal is to automate the scriptwriting process while ensuring that the scripts adhere to these proven principles.

I'm reaching out to this community, and especially to Hassan (our esteemed admin), to gather insights, feedback, and potential collaboration opportunities for creating a prompt or an API guideline that can utilize this framework for streamlined and standardized YouTube video script creation. This tool could be a game-changer for content creators, making our processes more efficient and our content more compelling.

Here are the 12 Framework Rules I've been using:

1. Word Count: Scripts should be between 3000 and 5400 words to balance detail with viewer attention spans.

2. Viewer Retention: Aim to retain at least 70% of viewers after the first 45 seconds by capturing their interest early.

3. Early Engagement: Encourage viewers to engage (like and subscribe) within the first 45 seconds, mentioning a free gift later in the video.

4. Structured Lists: Use lists and reveal items in reverse order to maintain viewer curiosity.

5. Research and Storytelling: Incorporate accurate, interesting facts and mini-stories for engagement.

6. Wordsmithing: Choose effective words and phrases to captivate the audience.

7. Curiosity: Ensure the script keeps viewers wondering and anticipating what's next.

8. Readability: Maintain simple, clear language and concise sentences.

9. Post-Video Engagement: End videos with calls-to-action to like, subscribe, and join an email list for a free gift.

10. Conflict or Enemy: Include a conflict or 'enemy' to add drama.

11. Personal Approach: Use a conversational tone as if speaking directly to viewers.

12. Open Loops: Employ unresolved storylines or questions to keep viewers engaged.

I'm eager to hear your thoughts on this framework and the idea of developing a tool around it. Do you have suggestions for features or considerations that could make this tool more useful for a wide range of content creators?

Hassan, as an expert in this community, your input would be invaluable. Could you see this tool being beneficial for our community members? Are there any technical considerations or challenges you think we should address early on?

Looking forward to an engaging discussion and any insights you all might have!

Best,
Claude

Hi friend, thanks for sharing.

I think the best way to develop such a tool is by combining AI with Data. so the right approach (in my opinion) is to collect, for example, 1000 YouTube videos that adhere to 80% of these rules, extract the scripts, and fine-tune an AI model on them so it can generate something similar in different topics.

an easier approach is to find 3 to 4 videos that you think adhere to all these rules and feed them within the prompt when generating the script.
